Reflexology with Cara

Restore Balance with Reflexology Treatments

Reflexology is the study of reflexes.

Reflexology therapies are natural therapeutic methods derived from this study based on the principle that there are reflexes in the body that map to other parts, glands and organs of the body.

Through the application of pressure on these reflexes, reflexology therapy can:

* Relieve Tension;

* Improve Circulation and;

* Support the body's efforts to function optimally.

About Cara

Reflexology with Cara started in October 2025. After many years of experiencing the benefits of reflexology and a desire of helping others, the plunge was taken to start my journey to become a Registered Canadian Reflexologist Therapist.  This is my dream retirement career.

As I work on completing my core + foot reflexology certification,  I am currently only open to my amazing case study clients that are assisting me with obtaining this dream.  Once certification is obtained I will be able to take on clients as I work on the next step towards the Canadian Reflexologist Therapist Exam. I am a registered member with Reflexology Association of Canada - Student Membership at this time.

As a wife, mother of three grown adults (plus the son in law),  grandmother of two and two fur baby cats; I understand busy lives.  I have a passion in helping clients find relaxation, renewal and relief during a reflexology treatment. It is important to take time for self-care and be balanced in life.

I run Reflexology with Cara out of our home located in resort village of Island View, SK on the shores of Last Mountain Lake and nearby communities of Bulyea, Strasbourg and Silton.

Explore a reflexology treatment designed to relieve pain, reduce stress, improve circulation and promote wellness. Your first session will entail the completion of a health history form, which is used to help create a treatment plan tailored for you. Each treatment is customized to cater to your individual health needs, providing a comprehensive approach to healing.

As a reflexology therapist I will not;

* Diagnose

* Prescribe

* Treat for specific conditions or

* Use machines or instruments that I am not trained to use

What is Reflexology

Reflexology is a natural, non invasive therapy embracing the whole concepts of holistic treatment. The ears, hands, and feet are microcosms of the body. By stimulating the nerve endings in the ears, hands and feet we send messages along the nerve pathways to various organs. Thus, we stimulate and communicate with the nerve network to the body.  We are not diagnosing or treating a specific condition, we are treating an existing imbalance in the energy of the body.  There are few other therapies that treat the whole body in such a gentle, non invasive manner which have no adverse side effects. We simply encourage the body to heal itself.  This is natures gift to mankind.

Is Reflexology covered by Insurance

Each insurance firm will cover differently, it is important that you check with  your individual insurance plan to see if and how much reflexology coverage you have.  If you plan does not cover reflexology, see if it can be added.

What to expect during a session

Sit or lay back on massage table fully clothed with your feet exposed.

You do not have to have a pedicure or ladies shaved legs before session,

as having your feet in natural state assists telling your health story.

i don't like my feet touched

I have ticklish feet or don't like my feet being touched.

No problem you will find the ticklish wont be as bad as you think it is and by the time your session is completed you will want your feet touched more often.
